The workshop “Writing & Picturing II: A Workshop with Emerging Scholars” is presented by the University of Chicago Center for the Art of East Asia and PoNJA-GenKon. In a follow-up to our 2017 Writing and Picturing Symposium, PoNJA-GenKon and have invited three emerging scholars to present their research and writing on post-1945 art in China, Korea, and Japan.
Audience members and participants will have the opportunity to discuss the papers at length in the broader context of issues in the art world from 1945 to the present day.
