Calling all bookworms! JETAA Chicago and the Japan America Society of Chicago Young Professionals Committee (YPC) are partnering on a book club!
Our book club will focus on highlighting voices and stories with a strong connection to Japan. The choice for our first meeting is Sweet Bean Paste. Written by Durian Sukegawa, it is a moving novel about the burden of the past and the redemptive power of friendship.
Be sure to pick up a copy of the book and then join us for an evening of casual discussion in a virtual space via Zoom. We are limiting registrations to 20 for our first meeting, so grab a spot soon!
