The Japanese Reading Group is an informal gathering of Japanese language learners who read through blog posts, articles and short stories together to practice translating the text.
For the month of September, the group is reading a short blog post that was found on Twitter. The event will be held at one of the JETAA member’s homes, so please post in the comments below if you are interested in attending and we can provide the details.
If there is extra time, we may put in a Japanese DVD.

Time: 6:30 PM
Location: Argo Tea, 16 West Randolph Street
This month we’re reading a blog post by the illustrator Misato Yugi: http://www.mikanblog.com/?p=6041.
It’s a recent post from early July with thoughts about life and the election. We’re not sure about the main point, but it looks like an interesting read and a little easier than the reading last month. Easy to copy and paste into online dictionaries as well. Hope to see some more folks out for this one! Please RSVP on the Facebook Event Page or contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
