The Japan Information Center would like to invite you to visit us for our Open House Day!
We have many new additions to our library, including books on art, Japanese-language, and pop culture, as well as Japanese DVDs and CDs, that you can check out.
We also have pamphlets and other information on Japan, information about Japan related events in Chicago and the Midwest, tourism information and guides to studying in Japan.
Our staff will be able to give you a tour of our facilities, as well as assist you with our resources.
We will be giving a tea ceremony demonstration from 3:00pm, so don’t miss this rare chance! Visitors will be able to experience making Japanese tea themselves.
We will also have activity stations for kimono, origami, calligraphy etc.
Please feel free to stop by anytime during 1:15-4:45pm. No reservation is necessary. We look forward to welcoming you here at Japan Information Center!
