A post from the Japanese reading group leader, Daniel.  Join and RSVP on the Facebook event today:

“Hey all. I stumbled across a really interesting blog post about giving condolences in Japanese. The blog author is a funeral director who has been blogging since 2009, perhaps inspired by the 2008 movie Departures.

So for the March reading group, we’ll read the blog post ご愁傷様の意味と正しい使い方: http://funeralservice.livedoor.biz/archives/494034.html

It’s mediumish/longish in length, but I think having access to the digital text will make reading easier. Should be a 深イイ text to discuss!”
